Mark Pryor
Mark Pryor writes crime fiction, the kinds of stories he grew up reading, where the good guys hunt the bad guys and sometimes it's not clear who's who. His popular Hugo Marston series is set mostly in Paris, but also in London and Barcelona. Hugo is the head of security at the US Embassy in Paris, a former FBI profiler, and a rather old-fashioned kind of hero. In addition to his Hugo series, he has written two novels set in Austin, Texas: HOLLOW MAN (September, 2015) and DOMINIC (January 2018). They are psychological thrillers. Publishers Weekly compared HM's ending with one of his favorite movies, THE USUAL SUSPECTS. He takes that as a compliment! In real life, he is a prosecutor in Austin, Texas, a husband, a father, and (as he describes himself) a barely-above-average soccer player. |
